Another Day in the Life (How Vague are these Titles)

Turtles passed away. Both of the two we had left, Slider and Turtle died on the same day. Perhaps it got too hot, perhaps something got into their water. We'll never know. We held a nice ceremony for them, hummed Taps before tossing them into the dumpster at our apartment complex. RIP, Slider and Turtle.

On a happier note, we went to Millerton Lake this past weekend and I water-ski'd behind a house-boat and on a kayak. That's right, house-boat and kayak. I found a rope with handle that they use in Water skiing on an inlet-beach at the lake and tied that sucker to the boat. It was great, although more difficult than water-skiing because ... well ... it's a kayak. It was a whole camping affair with Patrick, his GF Donna, Harold, Mary (Mary Quite in Michigan now), and Reina (of course) and some of their friends. It was a real blast.

So it goes.
