My Life Now.

4:30 am. I hear a scritching and a scratching. Regular readers of my blog, this sounds familiar. But this time instead of my Comic Con shit hitting the floor, I hear my cat, Belle, tearing away like a madman. Because this is the 3rd time she has cornered/brought a mouse/rat into my room, I know where it is. Mouses and Rats like the corner where I keep my guitar. Anyway, yada yada, after cornering it alternately behind my dresser, next to my bookcase, in Sarah's room, and then in the closet, the mouse (this time it was a mouse), had the bad idea of running between the chest carrying my 150-lb. comic book collection and the floor. I moved the chest so the floor and it were a little more in touch with each other, and BAM. Dead mouse.

This is easier than it has been. I have found a parapalegic rat crawling in circles and half-pinned by a cordless phone. I have played hockey with a rat, a cardboard box, and a broom. Most of the time, Belle eats the mice. But the rats she leaves for me.

"Wait. He has a cat now? Last time he lived in a garage in Mira Mesa with 3 guys. Who is driving?"

The DL: I now live in Riverside, with my step-sister Sarah, two dogs, and a cat, in a home that is actually a Real Estate Appraisal office. At 6:00 am, Monday through Friday, I get up out of bed and walk the 20 feet to the main office, sit down at my desk and go to work. At 8:00 pm, (or thereabouts) I call Reina. On Friday, I drive down to San Diego and spend the weekend with her.

For this, you have spent months checking this page only to find the same goddamn post about how my graduation-something-or-other has a cool middle name. For that, I thank you. I'm going to try to post more. I swear.

*thanks to patrick and sheena for getting me to update.
