I haven't spoken with my father in, oh, about four months. Recap: in December, he accused my sister and I of not loving him and essentially told us that we better start displaying love "or else." I replied to his e-mail, saying how dare he even make that suggestion, but that in our love we would forgive him. He replied angrily, first to my sister, and then to myself. I think Sheena responded, but I didn't. I wanted an apology and he could go wallow in his self-pity until he damn well gave one, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. just a simple "i'm sorry."

it took him four months to figure it out. i need to talk to my sister about it.
